The first reporting period of MefCO2 project finalised on the 31 of May (month 18th of the project).

For that reason the Consortium meeting which normally takes place each six months was combined with the Reporting meeting and it was held on the 28 and 29 of June in Ljubljana (Slovenia) hosted by NIC – National Institute of Chemistry, Slovenia. The meeting was attended by around 25 people including the Project Office whose presence was key as it was the occasion to give update of the project’ progress.

Each partner had the opportunity to present their technical report including the work carried out during the last 6 months, the results achieved within the first year and a half of the project as well as the submitted deliverables and achieved milestones. Also the financial report of each Consortium Member was presented. All financial reports showed no deviations from the Description of Action of the Grant Agreement and the project progresses as planned.

It was exciting and fun to spend two intense days of meeting and discussion. A visit to NIC’s facilities was included in the agenda so that all partners could see how NIC’s team daily life is. In addition to this, a city tour was scheduled at the end of the first day so that everybody could learn a bit more about the history of Ljubljana and Slovenia.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement
