Začenjamo 11 mio vreden projekt pridobivanja metanola iz ogljikovega dioksida

NIC participates in MefCO2, a 11 million H2020 project. The largest project in the history of the Institute of Chemistry at the Slovenian side leaded by Blaz Likozar. The main product of the four-year project will be a synthesis plant for the production of methanol from carbon dioxide emissions by 1 ton daily capacity . It will allow the use of carbon dioxide emissions and reduce greenhouse gas emissions , balancing the power supply to the electricity consumption peaks in excess of its formation and the production of methanol as a versatile material for further conversion.
